The MMA South Africa, in partnership with MultiChoice, and META is hosting a series of workshops and podcasts to help the local industry understand and navigate the ‘Web 3 landscape.

The world is witnessing the next generation of the internet in the making! WEB3! We've discovered how the ability to own digital assets on the internet, thanks to the immutability of blockchain technology, has fundamentally changed how consumers can interact with brands and products in real life as well as on the metaverse.

Now we explore how marketers and brand builders are experimenting with web3 technology in order to reach customers.

Workshop 2 in partnership with META explores:

  • What is the Metaverse and what does this mean for marketing?
  • New ways brands are engaging with web3 customers
  • How Augmented Reality and VR takes us a step closer
