After discovering the history and stories behind Anatolian tile art, it’s time to create your own.

At the workshop, you’ll be introduced to traditional tile painting techniques, patterns, and colors with guidance throughout the creative process. You’ll choose your design, work with the materials, and paint your own tile inspired by centuries of Anatolian artistic tradition.

No previous artistic experience is needed—the workshop is designed for everyone to enjoy. More than just a painting class, it’s a chance to connect with the culture you’ve just discovered and turn its story into something created by your own hands.

At the end of the experience, you’ll leave not only with a deeper understanding of Anatolian tile art, but also with your own handmade piece and a personal memory of Istanbul.

Please Note

Before the hands-on workshop, we’ll meet at a nearby artistic café for a short and engaging presentation about the history, meaning, and cultural significance of Anatolian tile art.

After the presentation, we’ll walk together to the workshop and begin the hands-on tile painting experience.
