Nu Metal Night: Quiz & After-Party

Join us at Yabangee Base for a night dedicated to nu metal, with a lively quiz, our Mixtape Exchange, and an after-party of nu metal love to carry us into the night.

Expect music from Linkin Park, System of a Down, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Slipknot, Korn, Papa Roach, Disturbed, Static-X, Mudvayne, Drowning Pool, P.O.D. and plenty more.

Doors open at 20:00, with an hour to grab a drink, hang out, maybe sing some karaoke, and take part in our Mixtape Exchange. We provide everything you need, just design your mixtape, fill in your playlist, and exchange it for one made by somebody else.

At 21:00, we’ll kick off our Nu Metal Quiz, covering the songs, bands, albums, lyrics, videos, and memorable moments from the genre. The quiz is designed to be fun rather than overly challenging, so you don’t need to be a nu metal encyclopedia to take part. Come with a team or join in solo. Prizes for top three! 

From 22:00, we move into the after-party, with nu metal favorites, deeper cuts, a few related genres, requests, and plenty of time to hang out and meet fellow fans.

Come with friends or solo and find your people there. This is a night for the music, the nostalgia, and the community.

Event rules: 

• This event is open to participants aged 18 and over.

• Entry is at the discretion of the venue. The door staff’s decision is final.

• No outside food or drinks, sharp objects, or flammable items are permitted inside the event area.

• By attending, participants consent to being photographed and filmed during the event.

• Professional video or photography equipment is not permitted without prior written consent from the organizers.

• Event organizers and venue staff reserve the right to deny entry or remove any individual if deemed necessary.
