Culture Night : Let me show you some Levantine moves: Let’s Dabke!

Hello! Welcome to Istanbul&I’s Culture Nights, a social inclusion event aiming to introduce various aspects of different cultures. Istanbul&I wishes to give the participants a chance to learn about a specific culture from a more accurate perspective, all the while having fun!
The Levant, a region in the Near East ( Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Jordan ), along with Iraq is considered to be the cradle of civilizations and from this geography, the famous "Dabke" was born!
This Saturday we are gathering at the YOLO art center to discover how these Levantine moves shaped the area's identity and had a historical role in the Politics of the area. Furthermore, We will discover how those moves vary based on the sub-region, and finally, we will all do the Dabke! What about food? We will enjoy the delicious Syrian and Lebanese Mana'ish ( Pies ) along with the breathtaking Iraqi Dolma

This event has three types of tickets: "Attendance", "Attendance+food", and "Attendance+food (Cash)". The "Attendance" ticket would be free, yet it wouldn't cover the food. However, the "Attendance+food" would include a meal.
P.S: Please DO NOT choose "Attendance+food (Cash)" if you can pay online. This option is reserved for people with difficulties with online payment.
The main activity of the Culture Night event is to enjoy a hearty meal together. Your 30 TL payment will be used to cover the cost of the menu that will be served by Istanbul&I. ( We offer payment in cash for those who don't possess a credit card :) )
