Join Ray Rizzo, author, father, TV Chef, musician and yoga teacher for a challenging and inspiring look at what it means to tap into our full potential. We never miss a chance to upgrade an app, to get the newest iPhone with the best camera, and yet many of us keep running the same emotional, intellectual and physical software, expecting that our minds and bodies should run perfectly and with very little maintenance. Ancient wisdom and new technologies give us improved ways of understanding ourselves, and our relationship to the environment. Ray will share some hacks to remain mentally, emotionally and physically fit, talk about his work with medicinal plants, and challenge the audience to define their own ‘Great Days,’ and achieve them again and again. After the talk, there will be a question and answer session, and Ray will share original songs and stories and reflect on the creative process.

Who is Ray?

Ray Rizzo is the Author of Weightlessness: A Synthesis of Yoga, Pilates and Chi Kung, and Bones for Joy (Selected Verse). He has been teaching yoga, manual therapy and the healing arts around the world since 1999, and is also an accomplished singer-songwriter. Besides being a yoga teacher, he is most well known in Turkey as the host of Ray’in Cifligi, a farm to table cooking/lifestyle show. He is the father of two children and continues to write, sing, dance, cook and explore movement and mindfulness. In his workshops, classes, and performances, he combines humor, wit, and wisdom, for a deeper understanding of our place in the world and the expression of the Sacred Masculine.
