Pitch A Friend Night: You Should Meet My Friend

Everyone has that friend. The one you’re always telling people about. The one you wish more people knew. The one you’d happily make a slightly unhinged PowerPoint about.

This is their night.

Pitch A Friend Night is about celebrating the people we love, and introducing them to some new ones.

Bring a friend you think is great and share a short presentation about them. Tell us what makes them them. Share the stories, quirks, talents, questionable decisions, niche obsessions or tiny details that make you love having them in your life.

Maybe they’ve lived five different lives. Maybe they’re unbelievably funny. Maybe they make excellent soup. Maybe you just think they’re cool and should meet more people.

The point isn’t to prove they’re exceptional. It’s to make us want to meet them.

Then, after the presentations, we’ll switch on the karaoke and everyone can actually hang out with the people they’ve just spent the evening hearing about.

How It Works

There are two free ticket options:

I Want to Pitch a Friend

You have a friend you love, and you think the room should meet them.

Grab this ticket if you're interested in making a short, fun presentation about them. You don't need to have your presentation ready yet — we'll get in touch with the details.

Bring the friend you're pitching on the night. They don't need to prepare anything. Their only job is to sit there while you publicly explain why you like them. 

I'm Coming to Watch & Hang Out

No PowerPoint required.

Come watch the pitches, cheer people on, meet the friends being presented and stick around for karaoke afterwards.

And if watching everyone else makes you suddenly think, wait, I should make one about my friend, tell us. If there's space in the lineup, we might be able to make it happen.

The Presentations

3–5 minutes. Maximum 10 slides. One friend you think people should know.

Tell us how you met. Explain their extremely specific obsession. Share the story you always tell about them. Roast them a little. Hype them up. Make an elaborate argument for why they’re the ideal person to have around in a crisis.

Funny, heartfelt, chaotic, sincere or completely ridiculous — there's no correct way to pitch a friend.

Just make us excited to meet them when you’re done.

Presentation spots are limited, so choosing a presenter ticket doesn't automatically guarantee a slot.

Bir Arkadaşımı Pitch Etmek İstiyorum

Sevdiğin bir arkadaşın var ve bu odadaki insanların da onunla tanışması gerektiğini düşünüyorsun.

Onun hakkında kısa ve eğlenceli bir sunum yapmak istiyorsan bu bileti seç. Biletini alırken sunumunun hazır olması gerekmiyor — detaylar için seninle iletişime geçeceğiz.

İzlemeye & Takılmaya Geliyorum

PowerPoint gerekmiyor.

Sunumları izle, arkadaşlarını destekle, pitch edilen insanlarla tanış ve sonrasında karaoke için bizimle kal.

Başkalarının sunumlarını izlerken bir anda “Bir dakika, ben de kendi arkadaşım hakkında bir tane yapmalıyım” diye düşünürsen bize söyle. Programda yer varsa seni de sahneye çıkarabiliriz.

Sunumlar

Sunumun bittiğinde tek istediğimiz, hepimizin onunla tanışmak için heyecanlanması.

Sunum kontenjanı sınırlı, dolayısıyla sunum yapmak istediğini belirten bileti seçmen otomatik olarak sahneye çıkacağın anlamına gelmiyor.

Sunumları önceden inceleyip geceye hazırlayabilmemiz için etkinlik günü saat 17:00'ye kadar bize göndermen gerekiyor.

Event rules

This event is open to participants aged 18 and over.

Entry is at the discretion of the venue. The door staff's decision is final.

No outside food or drinks, sharp objects, or flammable items are permitted inside the event area.

By attending, participants consent to being photographed and filmed during the event.

Professional video or photography equipment is not permitted without prior written consent from the organizers.

Event organizers and venue staff reserve the right to deny entry or remove any individual if deemed necessary.
