PillowTalk, Sammy D, Ryan Williams and Michael Tello'dan oluşan ve classic R&B, boogie ve disko sound unu underground house ve techno ile birleştiren bir ekiptir. Yine de tarzlarını tek bir genre ile sınırlamak oldukça haksızlık olur. Visinquest, Life & Death ve Wolf + Lamb gibi labellardan yayınladıkları çalışmalarıyla, 2012 yılında live grup olarak büyük adımlar attılar ve devam eden yıllarda, D.A.G. , "destroy all genres" yani "tüm türleri yok et" mottosunu benimseyip kendi groove larını buldular. PillowTalk consist of Sammy D, Ryan Williams and Michael Tello and their music fuses classic R&B, boogie and disco with underground house and techno with an original feel, yet it would be unfair to restrict their genre into one. With releases out on Visionquest, Life & Death and Wolf + Lamb, 2012 was a huge year as they hit the road with the live band. In the following years, they continued on producing with the motto D.A.G. , destroy all genres (a term borrowed from a famed underground San Fran DJ), and they found their true grooves through the journey. And this saturday night we will be listening to Sammy D performing a DJ set.
